Dubai Chambers recently held an informative workshop showcasing its full suite of integrated services aimed at accelerating business growth and boosting competitiveness for companies operating locally and internationally. The virtual session drew participation from 180 private sector representatives.
Attendees were introduced to the offerings provided by the three chambers under the Dubai Chambers umbrella—Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai International Chamber, and Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. The session outlined the organisation’s strategic efforts to fuel the expansion of businesses across multiple sectors while contributing to Dubai’s wider economic ambitions.
The workshop covered the advantages of membership with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, which plays a critical role in supporting business operations through services such as certificate of origin issuance, ATA Carnet processing, document attestation, and commercial dispute mediation. The session also explained how members can influence business legislation through Business Groups, which represent major industries in Dubai and foster dialogue between the government and the private sector to refine economic policies and boost competitiveness.
Participants also gained insight into Dubai Chambers’ initiatives to promote the global expansion of Dubai-based companies. These efforts include trade missions to connect firms with credible partners in key markets and awareness sessions on sector-specific regulations and legal frameworks.
The event spotlighted Dubai International Chamber’s strategy to attract foreign investment and international firms to Dubai. Through its global network of representative offices, the chamber promotes Dubai’s strengths, provides market intelligence, supports FDI inflows, and assists Dubai businesses in accessing global markets.
The session also explored how the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy is accelerating the emirate’s digital agenda and nurturing a vibrant startup ecosystem. Featured initiatives included Expand North Star—the world’s largest startup-investor event; the Business in Dubai platform for operational services; and the Create Apps Championship, aimed at establishing Dubai as a global hub for mobile innovation.
As a key driver of Dubai’s economic development, Dubai Chambers remains committed to supporting local and global business expansion, fostering innovation, and strengthening the emirate’s position as a world-leading destination for trade, investment, and digital transformation.
